Terms of Use (Customers)

Effective from 23 October 2026 · For the Pitthu customer app, pitthu.in, and Pitthu Business accounts. Delivery partners: see Partner Terms.

These terms are an agreement between you and Mahadev Enterprise, Gandhinagar, Gujarat (GSTIN 24DPUPP3331H1ZM), which runs Pitthu. By creating an account or booking a trip you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Pitthu.

1. What Pitthu does

  • Pitthu is a technology platform that connects you with independent delivery partners who own or operate two-wheelers, three-wheelers and goods vehicles, to move your goods within Gujarat.
  • Delivery partners are not our employees. They decide to accept each order.
  • Pitthu moves goods only. Passengers are not allowed to travel in the goods vehicle.
  • You must be 18 or older and give true details. You are responsible for all bookings made from your account.

2. Booking and fares

  • Before you book, the app shows the fare for the vehicle, distance, stops and helpers you choose. This is the amount you pay, after any offer shown.
  • The fare can change if you change the pickup, stops or drop, add helpers, or the route has to change because of your request. Our server checks every fare; if an older app shows a wrong amount, the corrected amount in the app applies.
  • Choose a vehicle that fits your goods (weight and size are shown in the app). The partner may refuse goods that do not fit or would be unsafe to carry.
  • Loading and unloading is your responsibility unless you book a helper. Tolls, parking or entry fees, if any, are paid by you.
  • Offers, coupons and referral rewards have their own conditions shown in the app. Pitthu may stop an offer or cancel rewards gained through misuse (fake accounts, self-referral, fake bookings).

3. Payment

  • You pay the amount shown in the app by cash or UPI to the partner at delivery, or as shown in the app. Pitthu Business accounts may pay on monthly credit as agreed with us.
  • Do not pay the partner more than the amount in the app. Report any demand for extra money to support.
  • GST: goods transport by road is billed as per GST law. Customers without a GSTIN receive a Bill of Supply. Registered businesses who add their GSTIN receive a Tax Invoice and pay GST under reverse charge where the law requires.

4. Pickup, OTP and delivery

  • Be available at pickup with the goods ready. Share the pickup OTP with the partner only after you hand over the goods.
  • The receiver must share the delivery OTP only after receiving the goods in good condition. Sharing the OTP confirms delivery.
  • Give correct names and numbers for sender and receiver, and make sure they agree to be contacted for the delivery.

5. Cancellation

  • You can cancel from the app before the goods are picked up. Currently there is no cancellation fee. Pitthu may introduce a fee for late cancellations in the future; it will be shown in the app before you book.
  • If no partner is found, the booking is cancelled automatically and you are not charged.

6. Goods you must not send

You must not book Pitthu for: illegal items or drugs; weapons, ammunition or explosives; gas cylinders, fuel, acids or other dangerous or flammable materials; liquor where banned; live animals; human remains; stolen goods; cash, gold, jewellery or other high-value items; items that need a permit you do not have. Partners may refuse such goods and we may report illegal items to the police. You are responsible for any loss, fine or harm caused by such goods.

7. Packing, damage and liability

  • Pack goods properly for road transport. Pitthu and partners are not responsible for damage caused by poor packing, the nature of the goods (fragile, perishable, liquids) or events outside our control (accidents caused by others, weather, strikes, government orders).
  • If goods are lost or damaged because of the partner's proven fault, tell support within 24 hours of delivery with photos. We will help you with the partner and take action against the partner where needed.
  • Pitthu's own total liability for any trip is limited to the fare paid for that trip, to the extent allowed by law. For goods worth more than ₹50,000, please arrange your own transit insurance.

8. Your behaviour

  • Treat partners with respect. Abuse, threats or harassment are not allowed.
  • Do not misuse the app, try to hack it, create fake accounts or book on behalf of others without their consent.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.

9. Pitthu Business

Company accounts that pay on monthly credit must pay the monthly statement by its due date. Pitthu may stop credit bookings if payment is late or the credit limit is reached. The company is responsible for bookings made by its team members.

10. Changes, law and disputes

  • We may update these terms or the service. The latest terms are always at pitthu.in/terms; using Pitthu after a change means you accept it.
  • These terms follow the laws of India. Courts at Gandhinagar, Gujarat have jurisdiction.
